#BlueMonday

So, from what I’ve read the 3rd Monday in January is meant to be the most depressing of the year. I don’t know quite how true that is, coz life is what you make it right? But then… It’s trending on Facebook and that means it just has to be true doesn’t it?!And just knowing that it’s been called Blue Monday and that it’s ‘meant’ to be depressing could set a precedent for the whole day.

I can say I think I avoided the curse of the dreaded Blue Monday. I got plenty of sleep (always a bonus with an almost 3 year old) the postman arrived with her new hockey set and also tickets for the game on the 31st January between the Coventry Blaze and the Sheffield Steelers arrived. Plus, I received my first assignment to write for OnFire magazine. All of which is rather exciting and definitely chased off the inevitable blues that most struggle with on a Monday.

Makes for a pretty happy me to be honest. My little musing interview with Josh Godfrey was posted on here and shared by a number of really great people on Twitter, including the Coventry Blaze, Fiveon3 clothing and a few other people and the response to it has been amazing.

This is just a little ramble of mine to tide you all over until I get to my next big post. I’ve got a few really great things in the pipeline for you to enjoy and this blog is most definitely heading in the direction I want it to. That being aimed solely at those who like me, live, breathe and love the sport that is Ice Hockey. I’ll be continuing my ‘Two minutes with…’ feature. If there is anyone you’d love to hear from, drop me a comment or email and I’ll endeavour to get those precious couple of minutes with them!

With any luck the emails will be answered, the tweets replied to and I’ll have some really great content for you soon! Have a great day guys, I’ll leave you with a few pictures from the nail-biting game on Sunday.
