Getting to know Braden Holtby

In this article I want to share with you some of the best videos I have found on youtube of Washington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby.

Getting to know some of our favourite NHL goalies is something I enjoy doing in my time off and I want to share some of the good ones that I have found with you. If you have a goalie you’d like me to compile an article like this for, let me know with a tweet. You can find me @CTPHockey . I look forward to doing some research for you!

Lets start this article with some questions that he’s been asked by kids. Braden is very open an honest with the kid and it definitely teaches us about how he breaks in his gear, some of the (PG) pranks that the caps play on each other and the most embarrassing songs on his pregame playlist.

This next video is one that details his pregame routine, including the weird and now infamous water bottle trick. It’s definitely an interesting watch from the Washington Capitals.

Here’s a series of 20, quick fire questions with GOT Style magazine, these answers were pretty interesting and seeing his interviews you wouldn’t think he was so socially awkward!

This video, from Total Goalie explains a bit about his youth and how his dad influenced him. It’s a great little video, you should definitely check it out.

This last video isn’t so much informative as it is funny. Geico is a partner of the National Hockey League and over the years they have produced some really brilliant adverts featuring some of our favourite NHL players. Here is the recent one featuring Holtby. It seems, he can’t save everything.

Hope you enjoy this little video compilation! If you have any recommendations, let me know! I look forward to compiling something for you! Happy viewing! If you enjoyed this, please leave me a like, or perhaps share on your social media.

Thank you to each and every one of you who enjoy my content. Without you all I wouldn’t be doing what I am and for that I’m thankful.
