Manchester Storm announced via their twitter that Riley Stadel has signed for the team.
The 22 year old defenseman, who has spent the majority of his young career in the WHL and most recently with the Elite League’s Dundee Stars will be making the move to Manchester for the 18/19 campaign.
He played in 37 games, totally in 10 goals and 11 assists for Dundee. Fans were expecting the 22 year old to resign, but it wasn’t to be.
Head Coach Ryan Finnerty explained.
I put a lot of time in to researching Riley Stadel. He’s a young player who can play forward and D. I believe he has the ability to be a top player in this league. As a D-Man he scored 10 goals in only 31 games. He skates extremely well, and can make plays under pressure. I am really looking forward to working with Riley and I’m excited to have him in Manchester.
