Book Review | End Game: A Bellevue Bullies novel by Toni Aleo

Toni Aleo is the gift that keeps on giving. With her latest release “End Game” a few weeks from release, we here at Chasing The Puck were given the chance to sink our teeth into her latest novel and it certainly didn’t disappoint.

Ryan Justice is a familiar character to any of those who have followed her Nashville Assassins series. He’s the nephew of her original hero – now retired captain, Shea Adler.

For those who haven’t read any of the Assassins series, here’s the cliff notes description of Ryan.

He’s a driven young man with a desire to make it big in the NHL, to make his father proud and to follow in the footsteps of his uncle Shea. He wants to be an Assassin more than anything in the world, that is until he meets Sofia.

Boy meets girl, girl is interested but knows boys are trouble (which they are!) and tries to keep away. A whole heap of trouble ensues setting our new favourite couple on the rocky path to their happily ever after.

We all know a path to true love never runs smoothly.

Toni Aleo writes in such a brilliant way, taking you into the minds of both Sofia and Ryan.
