The Vancouver Canucks have announced the 2 year contract extension of netminder Richard Bachman.

The thirty year old from Utah was drafted in 2006 by the Dallas Stars, and has been on a two way contract with the Canucks and the Utica Comets since the 15-16 season. He finished this year with an outstanding 0.902 save percentage in Utica, and has 48 NHL games under his belt, with a 2.90 GAA and a 9.06 save percentage while in the show.
Time will tell if the 5″10 net minder is called upon, as the Canucks have two returning netminders in the form of Jacob Markstrom and Andres Nilsson.
Whether he’s in Utica or Vancouver – I’m sure he’s glad to be Bach.
