Newbie Nettie now in Nottingham

Panthers confirm the signing of 23 year old Netminder.

Nottingham Panthers have today confirmed the signing of American Netminder Patrick (Packy) Munson from Michigan Tech of the NCAA.

This will be Munson’s first move in to professional Hockey after spending time at College level with the University of Vermont and then Denver. He is 6’2″ and has a famous uncle in Kevin Trudeau, a former Baseball player with the New York Yankees.

Panthers fans will be questioning this move as there are two netminders currently in place, Michael Garnett and Sam Gospel however Rich Chernomaz had this to say on the signing;

“We’ve got a lot of games lined up and the more depth we have in every department the better I like our chances. I’ve had good reports on Patrick and we’re looking forward to seeing him in action”
