Peterborough we’re looking to bounce back from a crushing 6 – 1 loss to Guelph on Friday, where Cameron Butler grabbed the loan goal for Rob Wilson’s men.

The Peterborough Petes have completed a trade with the Guelph Storm (who they actually faced hours after the trade was announced, ending in a 6 – 1 victory for Guelph) with the Petes sending one player and a bunch of draft picks to the Storm for just one player.

If I told you that Joey Martin leads all Cardiff Devils in goals scored this year in League, Challenge Cup and Champions Hockey League action, you’d believe me right?
Well, he is top with 19 goals, but he’s not alone. One other player shares that lead and its 38-year-old Layne Ulmer who’s had a great start to the season, especially in Challenge Cup and CHL action. Also it is worth noting, there is a question about whether a goal in the Devils overtime loss to the Glasgow Clan should also be awarded to Ulmer, so if that changes then it means Ulmer has the lead on the team with 20.

After he was recently released by the financially stricken Milano Rossoblu side from the AlpsHL, it hasn’t taken long for Guillaume Doucet to find his way back to the EIHL.
He’s had stints in Hull, Nottingham, Cardiff and Milton Keynes, and now for the rest of the season, the one time 40-goal scorer will head to the Glasgow Clan for the rest of the 2018/19 season.
