Once Rasmus Dahlin goes first overall, the real draft gets closer, but even after number one, Andrei Svechnikov going second is almost a dead certainty.

The 18-year-old from Barnaul, Russia has spent the past two seasons in North America, adapting to the style of play ready to make an impact in the NHL.

He spent all of 2016-17 with Muskegon in the USHL, leading the team with 58 points in 48 games.
