Elliotte Friedman recently reported on his regular column “31 Thoughts” on the sportsnet.ca website that the Ducks may miss out on the services of Ryan Kesler in the upcoming season.
The Ducks number 17 sat out of the first three months of the 17/18 season recovering from hip surgery with both Kesler and the organisation admitting that he had been struggling throughout his ice time.
Kesler is undergoing aggressive rehab to try and improve the hip area with the possibility of sitting out the coming season and returning for 19/20. However, a final decision will be clearer nearer to the beginning of the Ducks training camp in September.
