Hailing from Vantaa Finland and playing junior hockey with Jokerit in the Finnish Jr. B SM-sarja Q before making a move to the US to man the pipes for Minnesota Wilderness and the Univ. of Minnesota-Duluth eventually being signed by the Leafs.
However, with this extension it’s now aparant that the position between the pipes are up for grabs with the Marlies and too the back up spot with the Leafs.
